Attendance Icons Are Back!

Hey, everyone. Based on feedback from many of you regarding the new version, we’ve added the ability to quickly view whether a reconciled lesson was Attended or Missed on the Calendar by adding a “check” icon for attended and an “x” icon for missed.

Once you reconcile, those icons will appear next to the event on the Calendar automatically which allows you to view at a glance your past attendance. Also, here are a few fixes related to the new version from this past week:

  • An issue with not being able to add an item to the lending library using the mobile app has been resolved.
  • Enabling the Automatically Enter Online Payments feature checkbox was unnecessarily unchecking the Enable Online Payments checkbox. This has been fixed so the proper popup appears with further instructions.
  • Editing a single lesson and changing it to recurring in the Calendar was causing the lesson to incorrectly disappear for some teachers. This has been resolved and the lesson will no longer disappear.

Did you know that you can customize what automatically goes onto your invoices?

With custom invoice options, you have the ability to show more than just the current balance due on an invoice. For instance, if you’d like your families to see what future charges they have scheduled, you can have that automatically included on the invoice along with several other options. To see a full list of custom template invoice options, please read this article.

Hey, everyone. Keep an eye for a new look on the Music Teacher’s Helper main website and blog in the coming days. The new look and content will help teachers searching for studio management tools learn about the community and recent improvements made to the software. This won’t change where or how you login though. And here are a few fixes from this past week:

  • For some teachers, multiple lesson reminder emails were being sent out for one lesson but have been resolved so all future lessons will only receive the correct reminder based on the settings selected.
  • In the new version, the dropdown option to move an active adult student to former was not showing for some members and has been resolved.

You’ll now see the complete Google Analytics code for your site near the top of the page. Select the tracking ID (#3 below), starting with “UA”, and add it to your Music Teacher’s Helper Website Settings page.

In Music Teacher’s Helper, click the profile icon in the upper right hand corner, then click “Settings”. Select the “Website Preferences” tab and scroll down until you see “Add Your Google Analytics Code”. Paste in the UA-Number code (#3). Once saved, all pages of your studio website will now be linked with your Google Analytics account.
