Here are the software announcements for this week…
For teachers using our prior version of Music Teacher’s Helper, many teachers are still experiencing inaccuracies with the transaction log summary page showing incorrect amounts, while the transaction log details for a student/family is correct.
Our programming team is aware of this issue and is working diligently to resolve it. This should not affect your ability to invoice your students and receive payments. At this time we advise teachers that are experiencing this, do not try to manually adjust the family/student balances as once this issue is resolved, the incorrect transaction log balances will likely go back to being correct. If you’re still experiencing these issues, please reach out to our support team.
This week we have this improvement to report…
- Our programming team continues to optimize the New Version of Music Teacher’s Helper for speed
Did you know that you can track students that are Leads, or on your Waiting List right from within the New Version of Music Teacher’s Helper?
Now there’s no need for extra lists of students (and all their info) outside of Music Teacher’s Helper. Enter in all your prospective Leads, and Waiting List student just like any other student in MTH. And because these are not Active students, they don’t count against your billable student count.
And if you’d like to send a message to either of these groups (for example, if you have summer openings and/or summer pricing specials to offer) simply do this…
- Click on your Students Menu Icon on the left side menu
- Select the Leads or Wait List button at the top right
- Select all or some of this student list
- Click the Send Email button
- Choose who will receive your email (Student, Billing Contact, Lesson Contact, or All contacts)
- Compose your email normally
- Click the Send button
